A one-of-a-kind cache-cœur shirt created by combining several pieces of vintage Japanese tenugui, estimated from the 1950s–1970s.
Originally made for local shops, commemorative events and organizations, each tenugui carries a small fragment of everyday Showa-era Japan—from bold Japanese typography and traditional motifs to charming illustrations of people and buildings.
These textiles once belonged to completely different places and stories. Carefully brought together, they now begin a new chapter as a single garment.
Vintage polka-dot fabric accents the softly gathered sleeves, while the indigo, black and red graphics stand beautifully against the white cotton. The stain is on the front.

昭和のヴィンテージ手ぬぐいを何枚も組み合わせて仕立てた、一点もののカシュクールシャツ。
使用した手ぬぐいは、推定1950〜1970年代頃のもの。
昔の商店や記念行事、団体などのために作られた手ぬぐいには、大胆な文字、家紋を思わせる図案、人物や建物のイラストなど、それぞれ異なる昭和の風景が残されています。
本来は別々の場所で、別々の役目を持っていた布。それらを一枚ずつ選び、つなぎ合わせることで、一着の服として新しい物語を持たせました。
袖口には水玉模様のヴィンテージ生地を合わせ、ふんわりとした袖のシルエットに。白地に藍、黒、赤の昔ながらの色彩が映える、存在感のある一着です。フロント部分にシミがあります。
どんなに古い布も主役になれる。
